Deweer Gallery was very happy to join and celebrate the 50th anniversary of Art Cologne.

We selected two new bronze editions and recent sculptures by Germany’s most established sculptor Stephan Balkenhol, recent drawings by internationally and strongly emerging Swiss artist Marc Bauer, a 90s glass sculpture by British sculptor Tony Cragg, recent paintings by German artist Thomas Kratz, historical objects by Belgian artist Panamarenko and for the very first time at Art Cologne, new and recent works by German artist Anna Vogel.

Deweer Gallery further lended to the central, curated jubilee exhibition ‘Eins, zwei, Wechselschritt - 50 years of Art Cologne and avant-garde in contemporary art in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany’, that was on display at the fair’s South Entrance, Panamarenko’s iconic object ‘Panama: Aeromodeller I (Model for aircraft)’(1984).
